Production process

Raw materials to end products:

  • Soybeans are processed into Animal Feed (Meal and Hull Pellets) and Soy Oil
  • Soy Oil becomes Bulk oil and Biodiesel and Bottled Food Grade Oil
  • Animal Feed shipped via truck or hopper railcar
  • Biodiesel shipped via tanker truck or tanker railcar
  • Bottled Oil shipped via box truck or railcar container

We receive soybeans year round from local elevators and grain suppliers via truck and railcar to provide for consistent processing and production. These soybeans are processed to extract the oil for our biodiesel production feedstock and to supply our food grade oil bottling and canning facility. With minimal loss, the entire soybean is utilized in production, as the soybean meal and hulls are processed and sold as animal feed.

For every 60 pound bushel of soybeans, the composition of a soybean allows for expected production yields of 11 pounds of oil, 44 pounds of soybean meal, 4 pounds of soybean hull pellets and 1 pound of shrink/loss.
